It's very much like fishing, including the stories about the ones that got away. :-)

I'm doing some research into how I can make a better antenna in the space I have available. I have some ideas, I just need to get some wire and start working on them.

One of the stories I read online while I was doing my research was about a guy who lived in a development where they don't allow "unsightly outdoor antennas." He solved the problem by hanging the antenna from the top of a pine tree so it terminated about 5' off the ground, then attaching a hummingbird feeder to the bottom of it!
